If you’re looking to improve the SEO of your website, one important step is to ensure that all of your posts have a well-written meta description. These elements provide a brief summary of the content of your post, and are often displayed by search engines and social media platforms when your post is shared.
To make this process easier, you can enable the option to generate meta descriptions for your posts using GPT-3 plugin. This powerful language generation model can quickly write high-quality summaries of your content.
To enable this feature, navigate to the plugins settings page of your website. Look for an option to generate meta descriptions, and turn it on.
Once you’ve enabled this feature, you can go ahead and create new content as you normally would. GPT-3 will automatically generate meta descriptions and post excerpts for your content, and they will be added to the HTML code of your post.
If a meta description is successfully generated, you will see it like this:
And it will be added to your HTML with proper meta tags.
Include Meta Description in HTML
We have added an option for you to choose whether or not to include a meta description in the HTML code of your post.
This is because many WordPress users already use popular SEO tools, which generate their own meta tags. If we were to add another meta description tag, it would not be good for SEO. If you uncheck this feature, the meta description will be generated but not injected into the HTML code. If you prefer, you can copy and paste it into the meta description field. However, if you are not using any SEO plugin, you can simply check this feature and the meta tag will be inserted automatically.
Yoast SEO and All in One SEO Integration
If you are using Yoast SEO or All in One SEO plugin the you can check this feature in the settings page. If enabled it will fill meta description field of those plugins. If you are using one of these plugins, I suggest unchecking “Include in HTML” option and enabling Yoast or AIO SEO.
